Joint Speech & Occupational Therapy
Two therapists, one connected session
When communication and everyday skills are closely linked, our speech pathologists and occupational therapists work side by side to support your child.

Who it's for
Joint sessions suit young people whose goals cross both disciplines, for example:
- Communication that's affected by regulation, attention or sensory needs
- Building play, turn-taking and social skills that also need motor or planning support
- Daily routines, such as mealtimes or getting ready, where language and practical skills go together
- Children who learn best with one shared, consistent approach
How it helps
Both therapists plan together, share what they notice and adjust in the moment. Your child gets the benefit of two areas of expertise at once, and you get one joined-up set of strategies to use at home.
Benefits
- A whole-child approach to connected goals
- Consistent strategies across communication and everyday skills
- Efficient use of time, with two therapists in one session
